Garden Museum Entry
The museum will be closed Saturday 15 and Sunday 16 March 2025 for essential maintenance.
Our historic nave space and garden can be accessed free of charge, and there is no need to book. Entry to the permanent collections and temporary exhibitions require admission, which can either be booked in advance online or at the front desk on the day of your visit. Please note our Medieval Tower is currently closed until further notice.

From the 10 February 2025 the Garden Café’s opening hours will be 10am – 4pm. For further information please visit the Garden Café page.

On Wednesday 26 March and Sunday 1 June the Garden Cafe and Courtyard Garden will be closed all day.
On Friday 23 May the Courtyard Garden will be closed all day.
Please check the Garden Café page for amended opening hours as they may differ from the museum. If you are planning to dine at the Garden Café on the day of your visit, please make sure to book in advance via the booking page.
If you are having any issues with our booking system below, please feel free to purchase admission at the Museum on the day of your visit, we welcome walk-ins. Please note, during off-peak seasons (no temporary exhibition) we do not take online bookings but are still open as usual!
If you plan to pay for entry at the museum, please check our website for availability or early closure as our opening hours can sometimes vary for special events.
Group bookings of 10 or more people must be booked in advance, please contact groupbookings@gardenmuseum.org.uk for more information.
We do not issue physical tickets, you will simply need to give your name at the entry desk upon arrival. Please keep your confirmation email as reference.
