A dedicated and valued team of volunteers stand at the heart of the Museum.

We have a variety of roles available, including welcoming and engaging visitors, help in the shop, maintain the Garden and assisting in education workshops.

Volunteering is a great way to learn new skills – whether it is learning about the history of the building, hands on retail experience or how to look after the Christopher Bradley-Hole garden! We strive to offer specialist training and development opportunities where possible.

Our volunteers often go on trips around London to various heritage organisations, organised by our fantastic Volunteer Coordinator Roberto. Read about our visit to the Chelsea Physic Garden.

Our wonderful team of volunteers are enthusiastic, friendly and helpful. We welcome all applications from potential volunteers who wish to help support our various activities.

Please note that you have to be at least 18 years old to volunteer.
