Volunteering

Become a Volunteer and be part of a dedicated and valued team at the heart of the Museum.

Volunteer with us!

We are looking for Welcome Team Volunteers to greet and engage with our visitors.

Our Volunteers are at the heart of the Garden Museum; welcoming and engaging with our visitors throughout the building. As we begin to welcome more visitors, we find ourselves with more opportunities for volunteers within our Welcome Team.

So if you are looking for experience of working in a museum, have a few hours to spare a week or just love engaging with the public then please get in touch.

Volunteering is a great way to learn new skills – whether it is learning about the history of the building, hands on retail experience or how to look after the Christopher Bradley-Hole garden! We strive to offer specialist training and development opportunities where possible.

Our wonderful team of volunteers are enthusiastic, friendly and helpful. We welcome all applications from potential volunteers who wish to help support our various activities.

Please note that you have to be at least 18 years old to volunteer.

Current volunteering opportunities are below:

We are specifically looking for people to volunteer as part of the Welcome Team on Mondays, Tuesdays and the weekends. So if you are available on any of these days we would love to hear from you.

Please email your completed registration form to volunteer@gardenmuseum.org.uk
