Cooking Masterclass | Vegetarian Feast with Zita Steyn

As we say farewell to winter and move into spring, come and learn to cook a vegetarian feast with cookbook author, teacher and nutritional chef Zita Steyn.

In this hands on cooking class, cookery teacher and Good Better Green cookbook author Zita Steyn will show you how to experiment in the kitchen with a wide variety of seasonal vegetables. Through Zita’s nourishing vegetarian recipes you will learn some savvy cooking tips and just how versatile these plants can be. After a morning spent cooking the recipes, you will sit down to enjoy them together for lunch. All participants receive a printed recipe pack to take home.

Menu

  • Pumpkin and tamarind soup
  • Raw bitters salad
  • Purple sprouting broccoli and beet greens pie
  • Lemon and lime curd tartlets
Open to all levels of skills and interests. This class is suitable for Adults 16 and over.

*This class is part of our hands-on monthly masterclass cooking sessions, which focus on specialist topics or advanced cooking techniques.  Sessions are usually on Sunday and held in the Garden Museum’s food learning studio. Each class is 3 hours, and will include tastings or a full meal eaten together depending on the course.
