Harry Brand Sprayer

Pumps and sprayers allow for pesticides to be distributed widely. This is a HARRY BRAND insecticide sprayer from Hong Kong, dating to 1996. The hand-pumped sprayer consists of two metal parts, a cylinder pump with a black plastic handle and a reservoir containing the insecticide liquid. It is of the ‘Flit gun’ type, originally named after a sprayer used to dispense the FLIT brand insecticide, it later became the generic term for this type of sprayer. The multi-coloured logo shows a man in an old-fashioned red tunic and hat using the sprayer to dispatch flying insects. According to the description it ‘Kills Flies Mosquitoes Cockroaches Ants Bed Bugs Moths’.
