A guidebook for the International Garden Festival held at Liverpool in 1984. The Festival ran from the 2nd May to 14th October and was staged on a derelict 320-acre industrial site adjacent to the River Mersey. The idea for this regeneration scheme originated from the then Environment Minister Michael Hesseltine and attracted over three million visitors.
