Bio Slug Pellets

Insecticides were designed to protect crops from all kinds of pests; from flies, mosquitoes and silverfish, to deterring cats, dogs and rabbits. These pellets were for killing slugs and snails and contained metaldyde, a now controversial chemical. In 2018, the Department for Environment, Food and Rural affairs said metaldyde posed an “unacceptable risk to birds and mammals”. This tin was produced around 1990 by Pan Britannica Industries, Waltham Cross, Herts.
