Charles Aldington: On Landscape Design

On Landscape Design explores the work of ‘the masters’, Charles’s top selection of influential landscape owners and, designers and garden writers over six centuries from France, USA, Germany, Belgium, Italy and the UK. In this online conversation with Garden Museum Director Christopher Woodward, Charles will share how when faced with garden design conundrums of his own, he turns to this personal pick of his favourite garden writers from throughout the ages for inspiration.

This recorded event features a 20 minute, specially commissioned film of Charles in his garden in Kent, looking out over the Romney Marsh.

Charles’ book ‘On Landscape Design’ is available to purchase through the Garden Museum here.
