The Noughticulture Talks: An Evening with Hilton Carter

Alice Vincent of Noughticulture’s next guest is Hilton Carter, a director, editor and fine artist who loves plants – his apartment is filled with over 200 of them. Hilton has a loyal following on Instagram (@hiltoncarter) where he shares his knowledge of plant care and styling.

This spring, Hilton is launching his new book ‘Wild at Home’ (published by CICO Books, April 9 2019), a tour through his own apartment and other lush spaces, filled with a huge array of thriving plants, teaching all you need to know to create an urban jungle.

Alice and Hilton will discuss how he came to love houseplants, where the explosion in houseplant popularity came from, and his approach to indoor gardening with tips and advice on how to use plants to transform your home.

The opportunity to buy ‘Wild at Home’ and book signing will follow the talk. Drinks will be available before the talk from the Garden Café.

Hilton is based in Baltimore, USA.

Part of our series of talks looking at urban gardening for the new generation, curated by Alice Vincent (Author of How to Grow Stuff: Easy, no stress gardening for beginners, and writer for The Telegraph).
