Family Learning | Plant pot painting and seed planting
Delve into the world of our our summer family exhibition, Growing Curiosities. Create beautiful, delicate prints using just the mushrooms themselves.
Inspired by the Nicola Davies and Emily Sutton book GROW and Nicola’s poem Growing we will be decorating our plant pots and planting seeds.
We will explore the illustrations alongside the poem and Emily Sutton’s vegetable patch illustration in GROW to create our own designs. We will paint our designs onto our pots, followed by the planting of seeds such as basil, mint, coriander or lettuce all featured in Nicola’s poem. You will be able to take these home and watch them grow!
