The Noughticulture Talks: How Instagram revolutionised gardening

One app helped to usher in gardening’s new rebranding as a lifestyle choice for the design-conscious: Instagram. We’ll be inviting some of garden Instagram’s biggest stars to discuss how and why green gets likes, follows and love and what the benefits are for gardeners to get involved. What have we learned, what does the future of gardening Instagram look like and how can it expand gardening’s reach?

Speakers:

Alice Vincent, Instagram @noughticulture

Alex Hoyle, Instagram @kewplantsman

Jamie Song, Instagram @jamies_jungle

This is the second in a series of three lectures looking at urban gardening for the new generation, curated by Alice Vincent (Author of How to Grow Stuff: Easy, no stress gardening for beginners, and writer for The Telegraph). Other talks in the series:

27th March

The Noughticulture Talks: Growing to eat in small places

10th April

The Noughticulture Talks: So houseplants are back – now what?
