Museum after Dark

On Friday evenings from 30 Oct - 11 Dec, the Garden Museum will be opening its doors later than usual.

This is the perfect opportunity to explore the Garden Museum’s galleries and our hugely successful Derek Jarman: My Garden’s Boundaries are the Horizon exhibition after hours. Come have an evening stroll across the shingles and discover the story of Derek Jarman’s garden. The Nave of the medieval and Victorian church will also be illuminated, creating an atmospheric after dark experience, transporting you through the ages, from medieval Lambeth to 1980s Dungeness.

On Friday 30 October, we’ll also be sharing our favourite local ghost stories with you, delving into local legends and frightening folklore. Come visit and walk amongst the tombstones at the Garden Museum…if you dare.
