In this workshop we will collect samples of moss and ferns from the tombs and walls in our gardens. Then we’ll examine our samples under a range of different microscopes, looking at fern leaves known as fronds and learning about plant structures and life cycles.

Then we will make fern prints on fabric or paper using paint or hammers which you can take home at the end of the session.
