Harvest Festival | Fruity Walks

First Walk: 11.30am-12.15pm

Second Walk: 2pm-2.45pm

Join us on a Fruity Walk around The Garden Museum. Starting at the museum entrance, discover the extraordinary fruit trees located in Lambeth as well as a secret orchard in the Imperial War Museum. We will start our journey with some relaxing mindfulness exercises, and you’ll learn as we walk, about tree identification, history, folklore as well as sharing experiences of how to create urban orchards in London and some wonderful stories behind these trees. Keep your eyes open for a couple of unusual trees you wouldn’t expect to grow in London!

Divya Hariramani Herrero is a modern day urban fruit tree forager and London National Park City Ranger. Divya runs the Fruity Walks Instagram page (@fruitywalks), where she maps fruit trees in the city of London and explores the stories behind these trees, how they arrived, and the people that planted them.

This event is part of the Harvest Festival programme, festival tickets must be booked separately.
