Join us for our October half term cookery workshop, for chefs aged 9-13+ as we explore recipes using the seasonal pumpkin!
This half term the theme for our cookery workshops is cooking with pumpkins, and through our workshops we will explore culinary uses for the most autumnal of all vegetables.
We run sessions for 2 different age groups, and adapt our kitchen set up, tasks (and recipes where required) to be age appropriate. Please make sure you book your child into the correct session. This class is designed for children aged 9-13 (and older) who attend without supervision. Parent/guardians can drop off their children and then enjoy spending time in the museum or Garden Cafe while we cook. We do ask you to stay on-site for the duration of the class.
During the session chefs will learn valuable knife skills using age appropriate knives, how to measure out ingredients and how to read a recipe. At the end of the class we will sit down together to enjoy our meal.
