Join us for our May half term cookery workshop, for chefs aged 9-13+!
With talk of garden parties in the air due to our Cecil Beaton’s Garden Party Exhibition, throughout half term our cookery workshops will focus on simple recipes that you can enjoy at your own garden parties or picnics.
Recipes (to be confirmed)
– Mini asparagus tarts
– Root vegetable ‘not-sausage’ rolls
– Tomato and mozzarella skewers
– Berry lemonade slushie
During the session chefs will learn valuable knife skills using age appropriate knives, how to measure out ingredients and how to read a recipe.
At the end of the class we will sit down together to enjoy our meal.
This class is designed for children aged 9-13 (and older) who attend without supervision. Parent/guardians can drop off their children and then enjoy spending time in the museum or Garden Cafe while we cook. We do ask you to stay on-site for the duration of the class.
