Green London Cycling Tour

It’s one thing talking about London’s green spaces, but there is nothing better than experiencing them to understand what works, and why.

Join us on the first of our cycling tours to discover some of some of the green interventions a stone’s throw from the Museum. Our route will take us from Vauxhall to the City, stopping by both new and established green spaces, with an opportunity to meet some of the people involved in their creation and upkeep, passionate about small interventions that make a big difference in urban spaces. Ticket price includes a pit-stop soft drink at the Garden Museum.

Cycling route will include:

  • Bonnington Square
  • Vauxhall Walk + Hugo Bugg Garden in Vauxhall Pleasure Grounds
  • Healing Garden by Duffell House
  • Old Paradise Gardens
  • Westminster Bridge Road triangle – Guerrilla Gardening project
  • Ending at: Tower of London Superbloom from public viewing area (admission booked separately)

More about Green London:

Our Green London talks aim to bring together the groups, organisations and individuals working across the city to make it and keep it green. From guerrilla gardeners to tree growers, the talks are a place for sharing knowledge about how to get things done, where to start when it comes to greening your own neighbourhood and the people behind the successes that have resulted in London being the greenest city in the UK and Europe, and the world’s first National Park City.
