Branch Out | Bulb Layering Demo

This demo is part of the Garden Museum's new Branch Out programme, a series of free events and activities exploring gardening, art, floristry, plant science, history, design, and more! Join us on Thursdays: no need to book, just show up.

Join our Head Gardener Matt Collins for a bulb planting session in the Museum nave. Learn which bulbs make the best spring pot displays, how to ‘layer’ different species to get the longest flowering season from a single pot, and which potting composts to use.

Hands-on demonstrations will take place at 11am and 3pm and will last for approximately 45 minutes to an hour, with a chance to ask your spring bulb questions along the way.
