This seed biology workshop is part of the Garden Museum's new Branch Out programme, a series of free events and activities exploring gardening, art, floristry, plant science, history, design, and more!
Led by plant scientist, Katia Hougaard, participants will take a deep dive into the world of seeds, learning about seed biology and practical care, before planting their own seeds of sweet peppers and assorted herbs to take home.
Participants will be working with soil and tweezers. Disposable plastic gloves will be available for handling the soil and seeds.
Our Branch Out programme has been made possible thanks to funding from Arts Council England.
