Branch Out | Print for Calm: Dance of the Winter Plants

This workshop is part of the Garden Museum's new Branch Out programme, a series of free events and activities exploring gardening, art, floristry, plant science, history, design, and more! Join us on Thursdays: no need to book, just show up.

Join us for a workshop exploring the possibilities of lino-cut in floral pattern creation. Led by artist and pattern designer, Irita Ozolina, participants will draw inspiration from wintery plants and gardens of the Garden Museum, creating a repeat pattern using the lino-cut technique.

Exploring a range of lino-cut variations and using different repeats in a playful way, attendees will apply their knowledge from this session and create five seasonal greeting cards and a lino-cut stamp for participants to take away.

All materials supplied. We will be using gold, black, red, and green inks.

Our Branch Out programme has been made possible thanks to funding from Arts Council England
