This Courtyard garden tour is part of the Garden Museum's new Branch Out programme, a series of free events and activities exploring gardening, art, floristry, plant science, history, design, and more!
Come and join a short tour and introduction to the Garden Museum’s courtyard garden with our head gardener Matt Collins. Designed by plantsman Dan Pearson, the courtyard is conceived as a cabinet of curiosities; a multi layered host of intriguing plants, encircled by glass, that forge a link back to the Tradescants’ own museum and garden in Lambeth where exciting plants new to UK horticulture were showcased in the 17th century. An opportunity to ask Matt any questions, and to pick up a free packet of seeds collected from the garden.
Our Branch Out programme has been made possible thanks to funding from Arts Council England.
