Garden Café

The award-winning Garden Café at the Garden Museum serves up a seasonal modern European menu with a focus on fresh, well-sourced ingredients and simple, well-executed dishes.

The café is open for lunch daily, with dinner served Tuesday and Friday evening. Due to the high volume of visitors to the café every day, booking is required for lunch or dinner.

Coffee, tea, and baked goods are served throughout the day with tables given on a first come, first served basis. Please note that during busy lunch hours, tables will not be available for walk-ins.

Led by Head Chef Myles Donaldson (formerly of Noble Rot, St John Bread & Wine), the Garden Café’s concise menu changes daily, celebrating the very best seasonal produce. The café resides in an impressive glass and bronze pavilion at the heart of the museum in the leafy surroundings of the museum gardens.

In 2018, the Garden Café won the Leading Culture Destinations: Best Restaurant award, judged to be the best museum restaurant in the world.
