We are pleased to offer this event as part of our online Public Programme.
Ahead of her solo exhibition opening at the Garden Museum, artist Shara Hughes joins us online from New York for a conversation with Katy Hessel, art historian, curator and founder of @thegreatwomenartists, a popular Instagram account and podcast celebrating women artists.
Shara and Katy will be speaking about Shara’s career so far, her process and inspirations, and the grandiose floral paintings Shara created especially for this site-specific show in the Garden Museum’s central Nave, which both celebrate the regal beauty of the flowers and serve as intimate portraits of Shara herself.
