Be inspired by the naturalistic planting and laid-back aesthetic of this Oxfordshire garden. This fundraising event has been arranged to support the appeal to save the Garden Museum from the impact of the coronavirus.
Crockmore House garden, designed by Christopher Bradley-Hole, is a space where visitors can lose themselves in a stunning space filled with grasses and perennials planted in sweeping borders and formal grid beds. The gardens were designed in 1999 and planted in 2000, since which they have matured beautifully.
The Italian black basalt surrounding the pool is the perfect place to sit and enjoy the late afternoon sunshine, or one can sit on the terrace enjoying afternoon tea whilst the grasses shimmer in the sunlight.
Julia Kirkham, owner of Crockmore, has very kindly offered whomever purchases an afternoon in her garden afternoon tea or champagne on the terrace, and use of her pool (coronavirus guidelines permitting)!
Guests will be invited to bring a picnic lunch and wander round the gardens at their leisure. A full address for the garden will be provided to the buyer, along with the contact details of the garden owner so you can arrange parking and timings.
