Garden Museum Christmas Choir… Now Recruiting!

Sing, Sing, Sing!

Calling all singers… following a successful first performance to celebrate the reopening of the Museum earlier this year, the Garden Museum Choir is reuniting for a special Christmas performance on the evening of Tuesday 5th December during the Friends’ Christmas party (which Friends of the Museum will be finding out more about soon!).

Places still available – no experience needed, no audition – but hurry.

You will receive expert tuition from our professional conductor and choirmaster Angela Reith, harmonise with people who love gardens and get to perform in the fantastic acoustic of one of London’s loveliest small museums.

  • Rehearsals over five weeks start Monday 30th October and then Mondays 6th, 13th, 20th and 27th November.  Rehearsals are from 7.00pm – 8.30pm. Arrive from 6.30; tea & coffee will be available.
  • Cost covers tutor, music and rehearsal space: £72.00 per person, to cover five rehearsals and the performance. Pay in full by 2nd rehearsal – 6th Nov. Please note, we’re unable to offer refunds for missed rehearsals as we need to cover costs. Any profits will go to the Garden Museum.
  • Rehearsals take place at St Luke’s Church, Hillmarton Road, N7 9RE. On-street parking from 6.30pm. 7 minutes’ walk from Caledonian Rd tube (Piccadilly Line) or buses 17, 91, 259 from the tube. Buses from Camden: 29, 253, 279
  • You do not need to be a Friend of the Garden Museum to join the choir.

Booking and more information, contact Emer:  emerb2015@hotmail.com

Please book by Monday 23 October

The choir is being organised by existing choir members so please direct any queries to Emer and not to the Garden Museum.
