Vinyasa Yoga at the Garden Museum

Yoga at the Garden Museum is back! Connect with nature’s life cycles on tranquil mornings at the Museum on this 8 week course taught by Celia Scruby.

Vinyasa yoga connects movement with breath, linking a variety of postures seamlessly to create a flowing practise.

Engaging with nature plays an important role in understanding vinyasa, realising that the flow of breath is a life force, like the rhythm of seasons, night and day, life and rebirth. Vinyasa yoga classes often take inspiration from nature’s cycles to drive that connection between ourselves and the world around us.

Classes are held in the Museum’s nave space, surrounded by soaring pillars, vaulted ceilings and stained glass windows. Sessions are suitable for all levels of experience.

    Celia Scruby

It all started back in 2016 when Celia booked a last minute surf trip to Morocco and encountered the magic of yoga.
Waking up every morning for sunrise yoga before a day on the waves gave her a sense of balance and a connection to nature, which soon got her hooked. A few years later she completed her 200 hour Yoga Teacher Training with Yogahaven, one of the leading yoga training schools, she now balances her teaching with working at the British Red Cross.
