Join us for our Summer Holiday cookery workshop, for chefs aged 9-13+ as we explore cuisines from around the world.
This summer holidays the theme for our cookery workshops is ‘Around the World’ and each week we will cook recipes inspired by dishes and ingredients from different cultures around the world, adapting them to showcase the best of summer seasonal produce.
We run sessions for 2 different age groups, and adapt our kitchen set up and tasks to be age appropriate. Please make sure you book your child into the correct session. This class is designed for children aged 9-13 (and older) who attend without supervision. Parent/guardians can drop off their children and then enjoy spending time in the museum or Garden Cafe while we cook. We do ask you to stay on-site for the duration of the class.
During the session chefs will learn valuable knife skills using age appropriate knives, how to measure out ingredients and how to read a recipe. At the end of the class we will sit down together to enjoy our meal.
