Join us for a special evening with jeweller Alex Monroe.
Before introducing us to his practice and demonstrating the design and making process, Alex will lead us through a private view of his current exhibition Into the Wild.
In a short talk, Alex will share the stories behind his pieces, revealing the wild landscapes that shaped his designs and the techniques that brought them to life. You’ll gain insights into his creative journey as a jeweller, from the initial spark of inspiration to the intricate processes of sketching and crafting.
After the talk, Alex will guide participants through a hands-on workshop, where you’ll sketch, draw, and dissect wildflowers, transforming these organic forms into 3 dimensional pieces with simple materials like paper, card, and pipe cleaners to take home.
Whether you’re a seasoned maker or a curious beginner, this workshop is designed for all.
Spaces are limited – book now to secure your place in this rare opportunity to learn from one of the UK’s most celebrated jewellers.

Alex studied jewellery making at the City of London Polytechnic. On graduating he completed a short course with the Royal College of Art and set up his eponymous jewellery business brand.
