Winter Flowers Week | Flowers from the Farm presents Christmas Tablescaping with Leigh Chappell

As part of Winter Flowers Week, join florist Leigh Chappell and flower grower Andy Heslop for a festive demo brought to you by Flowers from the Farm.

Ahead of the party season, Leigh Chappell will show participants how it is possible to use British foliage to plan, create, and style seasonal tablescapes. Leigh will be joined by Andy to share her wisdom on growing seasonal flowers and tablescaping.

Christmas Tablescaping Demo ticket holders get half-price entry to Winter Flowers Week. This workshop has been made possible by Flowers from the Farm.

I trained as a botanical illustrator at Swansea Art College in Wales. I was passionate about flowers, particularly those growing in the wild, having grown up on the Gower Peninsula. Later, moving to London, I worked in Graphic design for some fifteen years before deciding that I would work with flowers. I love all aspects of floristry, following sustainable methods using locally sourced flowers as much as possible . I still adore flowers and enjoy sharing what I know with others.

I grew up on a crop farm it the South Island of New Zealand …Many years, lots of travels and life changes later, I moved to Surrey. I started to grow seasonal flowers as sustainably as possible and joined Flowers from the Farm.

I look after the soil health, working with nature, no dig beds, without nasty chemicals or single use plastic. Toads in the compost, lady birds and bees. Keeping the miles travelled to a minimum supplying local retail and wholesale customers. I get pleasure from nurturing seasonal flowers, creating beautiful arrangements or supplying selections to others to create their own.
