The Great Humphry Repton Raffle

The Garden Museum invites you to take a punt on the The Great Humphry Repton Raffle, and a chance to win a stay luxury in a Repton landscape, or even a Red Book of your own…

Tickets: £5

A message from Christopher Woodward, Director:

“18th-century society loved a Lottery. Lotteries paid to build The British Museum, Westminster Bridge, and even to fight Napoleon.

So when brainstorming how to raise money to help us celebrate Humphry Repton, we thought what better way than with a raffle. This has been our most expensive exhibition ever, with precious and delicate loans from all around the globe – from Windsor Castle to the United States – and we’ve been very lucky in our support by individual donors, the Oak Spring Garden Foundation, and our sponsors City & Country.

Three supporters of the Museum have donated three exceptional prizes to help get us to a final target of £92,000, and George Carter – a designer who has taken Repton’s spirit into the 21st-century – has given us a ticket design:

Humphry Repton loved anything new. He’d have bought a ticket, and we hope you will too!”

1st Prize – Replica Red Books for Sheringham, Attingham and Antony
