Join Wolves Lane Flower Company – for a flower filled day learning the essential skills needed to grow, cut and arrange seasonal flowers to enjoy at home. Begin the day with coffee and a walk around St Mary’s Garden, an experimental cutting garden collaboration between WLFC and The Garden Museum where Marianne and Camila will discuss which plants are good for cutting and how to design a space dedicated to cut flowers. After a crash course on seed sowing and nurturing your seedlings into healthy plants you’ll enjoy a delicious light lunch before returning to the garden to cover the fundamentals of cutting and conditioning your stems. The final session of the day will be an opportunity to arrange London grown flowers into a vase to take home.
The day includes all course materials including a seed tray of seeds, a glass vase, flowers for arranging, lunch and tea and cake and free entry to The Garden Museum that day which would include the opportunity to view the BFW floral installations in the nave.
