n our new series #GMinyourgarden, we’re peeking over the fence into gardens across the country to explore their places in our lives today. Not large, designer-led spaces, but small-scale personal gardens lovingly nurtured by their creators (and which nurture them right back!).
This week, Garden Museum Archivist Alex Sullivan shares a look at her green haven:
“My garden is my creative, learning, and relaxing space, where I can spend time with my husband on our shared hobby of growing our own fruit and veg. We enjoy trying new recipes with our produce (last year we made blackberry wine), and my husband grows hops for his homemade beer.
It is also an important outdoor space for our tortoise Holly to exercise, and to help us keep the weeds in check by eating the dandelions!”
