While social distancing remains we will be running short family feasts cooking sessions online on select Saturday mornings. Join us from your home kitchen.
Each month in learning, we find a subject to explore with information and activities across food, science and creative learning (you can find out more about this on our learning home page). In March we’ll be bringing you all there is to know about the potato and this hero staple vegetable will be the focus of our March online cooking class too.
The session will be held on zoom software, available through a desktop, laptop, or smart phone and a private link to access the class as well as the recipes and ingredients list will be sent out to participants at least 5 days before the class. Our online classes adhere to an online code of conduct, a copy of which will be sent out too.
As usual, our sessions are for small groups, for maximum interaction. Our family sessions are geared towards children aged 5-10, and they will need to be supervised throughout by an adult.
The sessions will be led by our Food Learning Officer Ceri, from her home kitchen.
Cost £2 per family*, with free places available for those based in Lambeth who need them to be. Please email email@example.com to enquire about free places.
Sessions take place from 10.30-12pm.
*Note: These classes are subsidized to keep prices affordable. Participants will be responsible for sourcing their own ingredients for the cookalong sessions, we estimate the total cost for ingredients for each session to be £8-10 (much less if you have a full store cupboard of staples). We understand that plans change, but since spaces on these classes are very limited we would appreciate a 48 hour notice period if you wish to cancel your place so that it can be passed onto another family.
