Come and kick off the school Christmas holidays at the Garden Museum with a morning of festive baking for kids in our learning studio kitchen. In this 2 hour session with our Food Learning Officer Ceri, you'll be making (and decorating) Christmas gingerbread in a variety of shapes as well as mince pies. You’ll sample one (or two) at the end of the class and then everything else will be packaged up for you to take home and share.
Tuesday Dec 21, 10.30am-12.30pm
Cooking Workshop for Kids (aged 8-12)
Menu: Gingerbread and Mince Pies
We have two pre-Christmas sessions tailored to different age groups, kids 8-12, and family (kids 5-7 + an accompanying adult). Please make sure you book into the right one. This class is designed for kids – by this we mean children aged 8-12 who attend unaccompanied.
In this session we will host a small group size of maximum size 8 plus our Food Learning Officer Ceri. Children will attend the session unsupervised by their parents, but we ask that at least one parent stays on site during the cooking session – either in our gardens, or in the Museum. Entry to the Museum is included in the cooking class tickets. Parents will need to leave contact details. Furthermore we ask that you read our Garden Museum visitor charter before your visit.
Ticket price £5 per participant*, includes all food for the workshop.
If there are any queries about the class please get in touch with Ceri on firstname.lastname@example.org
