This October half term we are continuing to seek inspiration from ingredients and recipes of the Caribbean, to tie in with the Museum’s Caribbean Horticultural Heritage Project. Come and join us to cook and eat some delicious dishes from across the Caribbean, taking inspiration and being led by traditional and modern Caribbean cookbooks.

Cooking Workshop for Kids aged 8-12
Menu: Vegetable Jamaican pastry patties with avocado and mango salad
We have a number of sessions across half term tailored to different age groups, kids 8-12, teens 12-16, and family (kids 5-7 + an accompanying adult). Please make sure you book into the right one. This class is designed for children aged 8-12.
In this session we will host a small group size of 6 children plus our Food Learning Officer Ceri. Children will work independently with their own chopping area and equipment. Children will attend the session unsupervised by their parents, but we ask that at least one parent stays on site during the cooking session – either in our gardens, or in the Museum. Entry to the Museum is included in the cooking class tickets. Parents will need to leave contact details. Furthermore we ask that you read our Garden Museum visitor charter before your visit.
Ticket price £5 per participant*, includes all food for the workshop.
If there are any queries about the class please get in touch with Ceri on firstname.lastname@example.org
