Family Cooking Workshop | Christmas Baking Dec 20

Come and kick off the school Christmas holidays at the Garden Museum with a morning of family festive baking in our learning studio kitchen. In this 2 hour session with our Food Learning Officer Ceri, you’ll be making (and decorating) Christmas gingerbread in a variety of shapes as well as mince pies.  You’ll sample one (or two) at the end of the class and then everything else will be packaged up for you to take home and share.

Monday Dec 20, 10.30am-12.30pm
Cooking Workshop for Families (Parents & children aged 5-7+)
Menu: Gingerbread and Mince Pies

We have two pre-Christmas sessions tailored to different age groups, kids 8-12, and family (kids 4-7 + an accompanying adult). Please make sure you book into the right one. This class is designed for families – by this we mean children aged 5-7+ with an accompanying parent or guardian.

In this session we will host a small group size of maximum size 8 plus our Food Learning Officer Ceri. Both children and adults attending the workshop will need a ticket. We don’t have a required ratio of adults to children, but ask for there to be 1 adult per family unit attending –  so this could be for example with 1, 2 or 3 children!  Entry to the Museum is included in the cooking class tickets. Finally, we ask that you read our Garden Museum visitor charter before your visit.

Ticket price £5 per participant*, includes all food for the workshop.

If there are any queries about the class please get in touch with Ceri on ceri@gardenmuseum.org.uk
