This October half term we are continuing to seek inspiration from ingredients and recipes of the Caribbean, to tie in with the Museum’s Caribbean Horticultural Heritage Project. Come and join us to cook and eat some delicious dishes from across the Caribbean, taking inspiration and being led by traditional and modern Caribbean cookbooks.

Cooking Workshop for Families with children aged 5-7+
Menu: Jerk vegetable kebabs with roti
We have a number of sessions across half term tailored to different age groups, kids 8-12, teens 12-16, and family (kids 5-7 + an accompanying adult). Please make sure you book into the right one. This class is designed for families – by this we mean children aged 5-7+ with an accompanying parent or guardian.
In this session we will host a small group size of maximum size 8 plus our Food Learning Officer Ceri. Both children and adults attending the workshop will need a ticket. We don’t have a required ratio of adults to children, but ask for there to be 1 adult per family unit attending – so this could be for example with 1, 2 or 3 children! Entry to the Museum is included in the cooking class tickets. Finally, we ask that you read our Garden Museum visitor charter before your visit.
Ticket price £5 per participant*, includes all food for the workshop.
If there are any queries about the class please get in touch with Ceri on email@example.com
