Easter Holiday Family | Neurodiverse Easter Pie Cookery Workshop

Many cultures that celebrate Easter, do so by baking some sort of pie. The pie is usually an extravagant bake using a combination of seasonal vegetables, eggs and cheese (and sometimes meat) to use all the ingredients that may have been given up for Lent. Join us to bake our own vegetarian spring vegetable pie, inspired by the Italian Torta Pasqualina. We’ll finish the workshop with some must have Easter egg nest cakes.

During the session chefs will learn valuable knife skills using age appropriate knives, how to measure out ingredients and how to read a recipe.

At the end of the class we will sit down together to enjoy our meal.

Please note this session is aimed at families with neurodiverse needs, and the group size will be smaller than usual. We welcome kids of all ages who attend with supervision. Everyone is encouraged to get stuck into the cooking. Only children require a ticket.
