Cooking Masterclass | Good Better Green with Zita Steyn

Join Zita Steyn for a 3 hour cookery masterclass in our learning studio, as we explore the wide variety of seasonal green vegetables - there's more to green vegetables than broccoli!

In this hands on cooking class, cookery teacher and Good Better Green cookbook author Zita Steyn will show you how to experiment in the kitchen with a wide variety of seasonal green vegetables for example learning different ways to prepare them, and which flavours or spices will help them come alive. Through Zita’s nourishing vegetarian recipes you will learn just how versatile these plants can be.

After morning spent cooking the recipes, you will sit down to enjoy them together for lunch. All participants receive a printed recipe pack to take home.

Sample Recipes (to be confirmed)
Green gazpacho
Wilted spinach and lettuce with Szechuan pepper
Chickpea and chard socca with aubergine stew
Courgette and Rosemary Brownies (not made in class, for tasting only)

Open to all levels of skills and interests. This class is suitable for Adults 16 and over.

*This class is part of our hands-on monthly masterclass cooking sessions, which focus on specialist topics or advanced cooking techniques.  Sessions are usually on Sunday and held in the Garden Museum’s food learning studio. Each class is 3 hours, and will include tastings or a full meal eaten together depending on the course.
