Bring the scents and flavours of botanical ingredients linked to love, passion and harmony to create a bespoke gin and tea. In this botanical beverage masterclass with aromatherapist, teacher and natural perfumer, Tanya Moulding, we’ll teach you how to choose and combine, herbs, flowers, spices and fruits to create and adapt your very own teas and gin to sample and take home.
In this hands on session will make two love -inspired botanical blends – an infused gin and a blended tea. As well as learning how to create and adapt recipes, you’ll learn some tips on flavour combining, smell, safety, storage and where to source supplies in addition to taking home some top tips on working with natural ingredients in beverages.
Open to all levels of skills and interests. This class is suitable for Adults 18 and over.
*This class is part of our hands-on monthly masterclass cooking sessions, which focus on specialist topics or advanced cooking techniques. Sessions are usually on Sunday and held in the Garden Museum’s new food learning studio. Each class is 3 hours, and will include tastings or a full meal eaten together depending on the course topic. Aromatherapist, Teacher and Natural Perfumer
Tanya originally trained in Clinical Aromatherapy and she currently works in both private sector and NHS as a complementary therapist and teacher.
Her love of natural aromatics and creative blending led her by the nose 5 years ago to study and train in natural perfumery. Outside of her clinical work, she offers classes, talks and workshops in blending, botanical skincare and Natural Perfumery, providing conceptual fragrance and product ideas for events and parties for both Corporate and private clients.
Tanya offers a bespoke perfume and products service on a commission-only basis.
