Cookery Workshop ages 8-12 | Edible Microbes

The Garden Museum Learning Studio Kitchen is hosting events for Growing Curiosities, our summer family exhibition.

Did you know that eating some kinds of microbes is actually good for you? Inspired by Nicola Davies’ book Tiny : The Invisible World of microbes. In this class we’ll learn about why we should be eating good microbes, and cook a meal using microbe rich yoghurt as a star ingredient.

This class is designed for children aged 8-12 (and older) who attend without supervision. Parent/guardians can drop off their children and then enjoy spending time in the Museum or Garden Cafe while we cook. We do ask you to stay on-site for the duration of the class.
