Garden Café

The award-winning Garden Café at the Garden Museum serves up a daily changing menu of modern-British and European, light, fresh and seasonal dishes.

Our menu changes daily, please see a sample below. Children’s options are available.

We stock a small selection of low-intervention wine, beer and cordials to accompany our seasonal dishes.

We serve coffee, tea, cakes and biscuits throughout the day with tables given on a first come, first served basis. However, during our busy lunch hours, we may only be able to serve tea and coffee to takeaway.

Whilst we don’t specialise in vegan cooking, we are always happy to adapt our vegetarian dishes to cater to those who follow a vegan diet. Please let us know when booking and we’ll make sure we have some options prepared, making best use of the seasonal ingredients available.

We welcome guide, hearing and assistance dogs in all areas of the Museum. No other dogs or pets are allowed in the Museum and café.

Events Catering Christmas Menu

Starting on January 10th, the café will be celebrating regional French cooking on Friday nights running into February. From Burgundy, to Brittany & Normandy, Alsace-Lorraine & beyond!

On Friday evenings throughout January and February the Garden Museum Café will be running a series of dinners celebrating the regional cooking of France, to restore strength and sooth the soul through the cold and troublesome weeks of Winter.

Our head chef Myles will be taking us on a tour of some of his favourite French provinces, show casing some of the authentic cuisine and traditional dishes that have inspired his cooking over the years, starting with Week 1 in Paris.

Upcoming amended opening hours:

Thursday 13th February – Closed all day
Wednesday 26th February 10am – 2pm (lunch served 12-2pm)
