Accessing the collection
The collection gallery at the Garden Museum exhibits a small selection of the collection organised around some of the key themes in garden history. However the Museum’s holdings are too extensive for everything we have to be displayed in this small space at one time.
The works on display are rotated on a regular basis. This allows visitors to see the variety of items we look after; ‘resting’ in storage can also extend the life of vulnerable works, particularly light-sensitive items such as photographs or watercolours.
If you would like to know more about the collection and what isn't currently on display please contact the Curator or Curatorial Volunteer about making an appointment.
