The Big Squelchy Muddy Clay Draw, 27-31/10/14
27 – 31 October 2014
Half term fun - The Big Squelchy Muddy Clay Draw
We will be creating a garden from clay inside the museum over the week. Come along and add to our installation and make it grow!
Create a clay garden inside the Garden Museum with artist Rosa Nguyen.
Join us to 'draw' with clay and make stems, leaves, plants and flowers. Inspired by the muddy 'trench' gardens of World War 1 where soldiers grew and tended vegetables and flowers in the trenches, we will make a garden from clay.
The garden will 'grow' during half term week as visitors add to it.
Family focused sessions daily Monday to Friday of half term between 2-4pm.
Adult members of the public and museum visitors are welcome to add to the clay garden outside of these times during the museum's opening hours.
At the end of the week the garden will be photographed and the clay recycled.
